The National Neutropenia Network (NNN) exists to help those who suffer from neutropenia. The diagnosis of this rare condition is often a trying journey marked by baffling infections, emergency room visits, and the desperate search for a physician who understands. After diagnosis, patients and families can feel isolated and discouraged as they try to negotiate life with a disease virtually unknown to family, friends, and even doctors.
The NNN is there to help patients and families negotiate their new life. We ease isolation through programs that bring patients together for mutual support. We cut through confusion and anxiety with a world class conference where top experts share the latest research and protocols. We give hope through our informational website which invites visitors to contact a caring person or find a knowledgeable physician, or download an emergency room protocol card.
Essentially, the NNN exists to help individuals and families impacted by neutropenia to live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.
